A poem of mine is currently being featured at The Poetry Society of America site.

I was asked to elucidate a poem & I did my best to give some background on what went into the writing of new old forest: infrastructure.

‘Velvet cushions for tea,’ the poem’s last words, are a sort of visceral memory of tea time and a particular sofa in the Rose Parlor (pictured above).

Everything else that goes on, all the suffering, but also tea & velvet cushions: this is the life!
